Who Can Join BBCU?

Joining BBCU is EASY. First see if you qualify & then:

1.                   Print & Complete the Member Application

2.                   Along with a copy of your driver’s license, mail the signed application to the address below or take it to any of our branch locations.

We also require the following when you join:

• Your social security number
• A clean copy of your driver’s license  or government issued identification
• A minimum deposit of $5

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
Membership in this credit union is open to the following:

	Persons who live, work, worship or attend school; or businesses and other legal entities located in Oakland County, Michigan the County of Oakland, Michigan, as follows
	Employees or member of employer groups or other organized groups, and employees of members of those organized groups, which are located within twenty five miles of the credit union's main office, which office location is authorized as: 576 E. Lincoln Ave. Birmingham, Michigan. Each group must provide a written request for service to the credit union. The Commissioner may permanently or temporarily revoke the power to add groups under this provision at the Commissioner's discretion.
	Any person who receives a retirement annuity, pension, social security, or similar retirement payment from private or government sources, and lives in, or belongs to a retirement organization located in the county, or in a county contiguous to the county where the credit union's main office is located.
	Employees of this credit union.
	Members of the immediate families of the foregoing. (Immediate family means relatives of the member, by blood or marriage; or any individual living under the same roof and in the same household as the member.)
	Any legal entity that is comprised for the most part of the same general group as membership of the credit union as outlined above.
	A spouse of a deceased member if accepted into membership prior to remarriage.
